Cornerstone Alliance has announced its interim leadership plan with President Rob Cleveland slated to leave the organization next month. Cornerstone said on Tuesday its board has appointed John Janick and Christina Frank to take on key leadership roles during this transition period.

Recall petition language submitted against Benton Harbor Public Schools Board of Education Trustee Elnora Gavin has been rejected by the Berrien County Election Commission. 

The city of Benton Harbor is holding the groundbreaking ceremony on Wednesday for the new Martin Luther King Jr. monuments.
